The all new Affinity: professional photo and design suit, free for everyone, forever.
Since some years I am using on my iPad and Mac Affinity Photo for developing some extraordinary RAW images. I bought the first version of Affinity Photo with a one-time fee. Two years later there has been Affinity Photo 2 been launched but I decided to stick to the first version as it was all I needed. Most of my pictures are SOOC “Straight Out Of Camera”. I am using the Film simulations and the JPEG converting engine of my Fujifilm cameras and I am happy with most (99%) of the results.
Last year Canvas, an expert for Image AI, bought Affinity. Everybody expected that the one-time fee offer for the Affinity products would change into a subscription model as all other, e.g. Adobe, are offering.
What a surprise has the announcement of Canvas last week been, that they launch an all-new suit named “Affinity”. A combination of Vector, Pixel and Layout software with an integration of Canvas AI.

The only exception is the Canvas AI. If you want to use Canvas AI, you need a suscription. All the rest is for free.
Affinity is already available for Mac and PC and will be launched for the iPad beginning of next year.
I will use the new Software on my Mac and write a detailed review soon. What a disruption to the rest of the graphical design industry.
