Thai street food festival in Düsseldorf with the 7Artisans AF 10mm f2.8 and AF 25mm f1.8 Lite
Last Sunday I have visited at the Rhein Ufer of the old town of Düsseldorf a Thai street food festival. From different kind of BBQ meats with spicy dressings and sticky mango rice to exotic drinks and cocktails a taste full mix of Thailand has been offered. I have been several times for business in Thailand and the food offered in Düsseldorf is very original. Delicious.
I love to shoot food pictures but also people in street scenarios. The visitors of this food festival have been a mix of cultures. Please have a close look to my pictures I took with the fables 7Artisans AF 10mm f2.8 lens as well the faulty (strong vignetting wide open) 7Artisans AF 25mm f1.8 Lite lens, which I returned today to the vendor, and I will receive a good copy in return. As soon this new lens arrives, I will continue testing the 25mm lens.
The pictures I made with the 7Artisans AF 10mm f2.8 are stunning. This lens is even at f2.8 sharp and produces a rich contrast. Also, the coating of the lens is state of the art. With a focal length of only 10mm you have always a big chance to shoot into the sun. Conventional coatings will produce blue rings or bubbles into the image, will produce flare and other optical phenomes. This new lens is perfect. No artifacts under the most difficult situations. The 7Artisans engineers made more than their homework. Bravo!
The absolute highlight of this lens is the weather sealing. I am looking forward to test it with my also sealed Fujifilm X-PRO3 in the next bad weather condition.
Enjoy the pictures.
