First shots with the Fujinon XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 OIS on the Fujifilm X-T30 III
The new combination of Fujifilm X-T30 III and kit lens Fujinon XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 OIS is a great entrance to the X-T series of cameras by Fujifilm. The great APS-C 26mp sensor, known from the X-PRO3, has a great low light performance. The combination with the latest generation of image processors is a gain in autofocus performance and provides us with the lates Fujifilm Film Simulations as the famous REALA. I took all images, to me best fitting to the time of the year, winter, with the ICONIC Classic Neg. A look as from the 70th and with its low key blue and brown performance matching the dark Christmas time. See my pictures from the night where the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) of the Kit Lens is extreme supportive to shoot at lower ISO out of the hand with speeds down to 1/7s.
Overall, I am happy with the extreme compact classic style camera, providing many manual setup wheels on the top, and the optical performance using the Kit zoom lens Fujinon XC 13-33mm f3.5-6.3 OIS.
One thing I need to test, does the use of a lens hood improve sharpness and contrast of the lens during day and night shooting? I have already ordered a vented lens hood of 49mm. More pictures and findings soon.
