Advertisement? NO way, this blog is add free and independent!
I have been asked by visitors and some supplier of lenses, why I am not hosting advertisement on my blog.
The answer is very simple. This photo blog and photography in general is not my profession but my big passion, during my free time. I love to use/test new gear and to talk about my findings, experiences and feelings. At the end, I will not accept that someone tells me what to write on my blog to simply promote products for money.
I am happy if I get send a lens for testing or can borrow one for a review, to keep the costs down, but this will never influence me, to not tell my personal opinion, facts or even to hide any truth.
To me is being transparent, independent and honest the only thing of value that counts in this world flooded by so many fake or alternative news. For every piece of gear, even the worst and cheapest “shit”, there are positive tests to be found on the net.
Summary: This is an independent blog doing honest and transparent reviews and sharing my personal opinion. Open discussions about my articles are always very welcome.
I was wondering the same thing about the lack of ads, but your explanation makes perfect sense. Staying independent definitely keeps your voice clear and unbiased.
