Industrial history captured with the new 7Artisans AF 35mm f1.8 Lite lens
On first of May, the early spring sun showed up in our area. As you know I am in the phase of testing intensive the capabilities of the new 7Artisans AF 35mm f1.8 lite lens. What I am searching on a lens is character.
The Landschaftspark Duisburg, an old Steel producing plant in the Ruhrgebiet, is a great location to shoot. The level of details and light and shades are great on those old factory buildings with pipes, pumps and other machines.
I have been shooting wide-open with Velvia simulation to enhance the colors and contrasts. The 7Artisans AF 35mm f1.8 Lite lens is rendering even wide open sharp from edge to edge. Is this lens perfect? No but it has character very similar to the legendary Fujinon XF 35mm f1.4 but at 25% of the price and even faster autofocus.
This new 7Artisans lens is not only a great match with the 26 mp sensor of the Fujifilm X-PRO3 but also fits very well size and weight wise and it´s a real always on lens.
Please have a close look to the images and please leave me your opinion in the comments.
