With a wide angle lens like the TTArtisan 23mm f1.4, even if it´s a mild wide angle (35mm in FF), it will often happen, while taking street or landscape pictures, that the sun is part of the image. In that case its important to understand how the lens of your choice is rendering a sun star and how much flair it will produce.
The TTArtisan 23mm f1.4, my preferred lens on this trip, is handling the direct sun light and other light sources very well. The pictures are made with f5.6 to f8. The rendering is very good with little reflections, nice flair and low CA (chromatic aberration). This is an other point that makes the TTArtisan 23mm f1.4 one of my preferred lenses. it´s even scratching on the tittle of my very much loved 7Artisans 35mm f1.4 APSC lens being my preferred always on lens.
To me the TTArtisan 23mm f1.4 is making so much difference to many of the boring and optical almost perfect expensive lenses. It´s a lens with character that gives inspiration and fun to photography. A great companion to the Fujifilm X-PRO3 on every travel- or street shooting.
