Waterfall captured with the NEW 7Artisans AF 10mm f2.8 lens

Water is one of the most powerful elements on our earth. Life is coming from the water to soil and can be taken by water, e.g. tsunamis or heavy floodings. I have learned that water always will find it´s way in nature or even on a damaged roof in your house. We human believe we can control the water, but this is on in some cases possible.

Another aspect of water, mainly in the forest, is spring water. Clean, fresh and crystal clear. It finds a way from deep underground to the surface and runs in little streams to rivers to end up in the oceans of this planet. From the ocean the water evaporates and ends up in the clouds where it falls back on earth by the heavy rain and fills up after filtration in sand and stone the ground water reservoirs of our mother earth.

This is the circle of life that makes me feel so small and unimportant.

Shooting water is always a decision between freezing in the flow of water or shoot water looking like frozen water. Short or long exposure time. In this photo story, shot with the phantastic 7Artisans AF 10mm f2.8 lens I mixed both kind of stylistic images of the waterfall. I also tested again the performance of this lens at f2.8.

Overall, I am still impressed of this, in my POV, best APS-C lens of 7Artisans. In these harsh conditions the weather sealing of the lens has been a benefit as I got once the water too close. A normal lens could have been dying by my small mistake.
