I have been visiting with a colleague and friend from Singapore a very well known local Street Food Centre. The concept of these Food Centre is, that many little food shops are sharing a common guest area. Each of these shops are only offering one or two specialized meals. One is offering starters, at other shops you get soups or main dishes as e.g. chicken rice or Indian food and some are offering desserts. I will also find fresh juices as well soft drinks and beers. Some of these little food shops are so specialist in the food preparation that they are top class addresses for their kind of food in Singapore. As you can see on my pictures, young and old and even big families are sitting together and enjoying the variety of fresh food.
To produce the SOOC pictures I used the 7Artisans 35mm f1.4 APSC on my Fujifilm X-PRO3 Black. The Velvia SIM of Fujifilm has been wonderful enhancing the colors in the colorful Food Centre. The 35mm focal length is to me the best POV for these kind of street/reportage images. Also the selective focal plane combined with the high optical performance of this budget f1.4 lens from 7Artisans is improving the content expression of the pictures.
