Street photography with the new 7Artisans 50mm f1.2 on the Fujifilm X-PRO3

Last Sunday I used the low winter sun for a blue hour shooting with the new 7Artisans 50mm f1.2 lens on my loved Fujifilm X-PRO3. As I described in another blog entry when I have been testing the Samyang 85mm f1.4 lens which is a bit longer and heavier than the 7Artisans 50mm f1.2. The Samyang lens has 610g to 410g of the 7Artisans lens. As I found out that the Samyang 85mm f1.4 lens has a good balance on the Fujifilm X-PRO3, the 7Artisans 50mm f1.2 is just perfect. It seems this lens is just made for the X-PRO3 and it´s feeling just natural to use the lens with that camera. The performance of this lens, wide open it is producing a smooth bokeh but also closed at the highest IQ between f5.6 and f8, the lens is rendering amazing images. The colors are rendered very naturally and there is close to no color fringes at f1.2. Even the images facing into the sun are still showing details and tonal gradations in the shadows.

More pictures, stories and review will follow soon.
