Kokerei Zollverein captured with 7Artisans AF 35mm f1.4 on Fujifilm X-PRO3
In the Ruhrgebiet of NRW (Nordrhein Westphalia) in Germany you can find old coal mines, steel factories and coking plants. All those industry buildings are no longer used and are today, museums and homes for small companies and startups. Those old industrial buildings got an apocalyptic lost place look and vibes, which I love to capture.
To enhance the described vibes of the location I decided to use the 7Artisans AF 35mm f1.4 lens on my Fujifilm X-PRO3 and to choose the Acros +R simulation. The focal length of 35mm (52.5mm full frame) is close to the natural sight of us humans. That way I have been exploring the surrounding as if someone is walking himself around.
The 7Artisans AF 35mm f1.4 lens has a great resolution and contrasts. The autofocus is fast and precise. The image rendering is strong as you can see in the contrasts between sky and clouds and the deep black of the steel buildings.
