I have been on my first international business trip after the break out of Covid at the beginning of 2020. You can not believe how much I have been missing to meet people and to be able to look into their eyes while reading their body language.

Do not misunderstand me, I am a fan of Teams, Zoom and all the other communication tools that are simplifying the daily communication with customers, partners and colleagues. I also believe business travel volume will never be the same again as before the Corona pandemic and this is positive for the global envirement.

During this trip to see my customers I got a only little bit of time to shoot some pictures. As usually I took my Fujifilm X-PRO3 with me and added the simple and compact but very universal 7Artisans 35mm f1.4 APSC. This is very compact setup and the IQ of this lens and body combination is to the point I want it for this street, food and travel pictures. The opening of f1.4 gives me the opportunity to play with depth of field and have a blurry background as well to shoot in darker environment without needing a flash or run into to high ISO and risk loosing details and adding unwanted noise. To me the 7Artisans 35mm f1.4 APSC lens is the the best standard prime I have ever used. A lens with character and very good mechanics. Focus and aperture ring are moving smooth but well damped. The welcome of my colleagues on a Sunday in Mexico has been a wonderful late lunch, early dinner. The start has been some “Empanadas de Carne”, followed by a typical Mexican cheese prepared in the oven. A break to wonderful mannish has been a fresh fruit loaded salad. The atmosphere at this great location catches me so much. for the main dish my colleagues selected a wonderful Rib Eye Steak which has been served medium without too much meat juice. With the meat there has been served a stunning guacamole and fried onions with extreme hot green peppers. Tu summarize this meal in one word:

Delicious!

With this wonderful meal we enjoyed the best and smoothest Tequilla I ever have been tasting. Thanks a lot to the Mitsubishi Electric FA Team in Mexico, they know very well how to treat guests.

I added also some more pictures of our trip to some customers, spotting Mexico on a Sunday afternoon. Any feedback is very welcome.
