The definitely perfect sign for the start of autumn to me is the blossom of the Magnolia tree. The big flower with the wonderful smooth tint is my favorite plant. I used the NEW 7Artisans 24mm f1.4 lens to get close and to test the quality of the bokeh of this lens. It´s a dreamy smooth bokeh, outstanding lens in so many photographical situations.
In Japan the sign for autumn is the cherry blossom. It´s a tradition that millions of photographers are hunting in Japan for the perfect cherry blossom picture.
In Düsseldorf, the Japanese “capital” in Germany, has got a wonderful Japanese Garden in its North Park. Small river with typical plants and small trees from Japan and of course the traditional cherry trees is marking this beautiful area. In the week-end many Japanese manga and cosplay fans are showing up with their colorful costumes in this garden. I got the opportunity and permission to take some pictures of the people, while I was there to capture the cherry blossom. With the focal length of 55mm (82.5mm FF) I am able to keep a good distance to the people but still frame their wonderful costumes and attitude. To me a great combination of nature and humans.
